There were two Grinberg brothers who arrived in Homestead in the 1890s — Morris and Meyer. These pictures are from Meyer’s family, and in particular of one of his sons, Allen. Click on the first picture to enter the slideshow.

I have fond memories of Meyer I. Grinberg’s store as a kid in Homestead in the 1960’s. I still have a lamp my late father made with the light socket still having a tag which states it was bought at Meyer I. Grinberg’s. My father passed away 26 years ago.
